Indian Nationals on a trip to Bhutan need a valid passport or original Voter/election card. The passport must be valid for six months from the Intended date of departure from the Kingdom. Children below 18 years without the passport need an original birth certificate [in english, computerised format] Issued by the office of the Government of India. Aadhar card, driving licence and pan card are not accepted by the Bhutan Immigration as the valid documents during your trip to Bhutan.
