Detailed Itinerary

Day 1. Welcome to Hanoi | D | Overnight: Hanoi

Early arrive in Hanoi. Pick-up at the airport. Transfer to visit the Bat Trang ceramic village known for producing high-quality ceramics and see how this pottery is made by hand. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in a workshop crafting your own piece or shop for something to take home with you. Back to the hotel. Check-in time: 14.00. Early check-in is subject to availability and not included. At leisure. In the evening, enjoy the water puppet show – a unique art performance in Vietnam.

Day 2. Hanoi – Halong Bay | B - L - D | Overnight: Cruise

• 08:30  Pick-up at the meeting point. Leave Hanoi for Halong Bay via the Red River Delta.
• 12:30  Receptionists welcome guests at the International Tuan Chau harbor.
• 12:45  Captain welcomes guests to Syrena cruises by tender. Check in cruise, whilst enjoying a welcome drink, safety briefing and check in cabin.
• 13:00  Leaving International Tuan Chau harbor, discover the Halong Bay - natural wonders of the world. Have lunch with special foods while cruising through famous sights Ba Hang fishing village, Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island..
• 14:30  Cruises stop at Bo Nau cave, the core area of the world natural heritage. Transfer by tender to Surprise cave - one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay.
• 15:45  Leave Surprise cave, transfer to Titov island was named after Gherman Stepanovich Titov - the Soviet astronaut who visited in 1962 Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach or climb the steps of the Rock to the top of the island. On the top of the mountain, you can see a corner of magical Halong Bay ...
• 16:45  Back to the cruise. Relax and enjoy the sunset on the sun deck. Go to the overnight place.
• 18:00  Happy hour - Buy 1 drink get 1 free (wine excluded).
• 18:30  Enjoy a Vietnamese cooking demonstration.
• 19:00  Set menu dinner.
• 20:30  Evening activities include: film entertainment (in the dining room); squid fishing; massage (contact with cruise manager for service price)

Important information regarding your Halong Bay cruise

Your itinerary for Vietnam holiday packages is subject to change due to local conditions. In light of recent safety reviews, local authorities have the power to close Halong Bay to all cruising due to threats of inclement weather. Closures are advised the day before or, more often, on the actual day. While we have designed our Vietnam holiday packages from India for your maximum enjoyment, the closures and the timing of notice are outside the control of any travel company. We will do all possible to inform our affected travellers as promptly as possible, but please note that sometimes travel to Halong Bay has already commenced when we are notified. Local operators will also offer alternative tour arrangements for any affected travelers, but claims for compensation should be taken up with your travel insurance company.

Day 3. Halong Bay – Hanoi | B - D | Overnight: Hanoi

• 06:30: Enjoy Tai Chi instructions on the sundeck in 30 minutes whilst cruising to Luon Cave
• 07:00: Enjoy light breakfast in the restaurant (coffee, tea, fresh milk, water, pastries, bread, egg, fresh fruit, cereals will be served in the dining room).
• 08:00: After breakfast, take a guided tour to visit Luồn cave . Visit Luồn cave by a traditionally woven (bamboo) boat rowed by a local boatman.
• 08:30: Then come back to Syrena cruise, relax and check out of the cabin. Please put your luggage outside the door. Our porters will collect and get them ready on the Pier for you.Finally, the cruise disembarks in International Tuan Chau harbour.
• 09:15: Enjoy brunch buffet menu served in the dining room. Settle bills in the dining room after brunch (if you have).10:45  Transfer by tender back to Tuan Chau harbor and disembarkation. Farewell to guests.
• 11:15: Drive back to the meeting point in Hanoi. Check-in. At leisure.

Day 4. Hanoi - Mai Chau | B - D | Overnight: Mai Chau

Today you leave Hanoi for Mai Chau valley. Mai Chau valley has long been home to some of Vietnam’s beloved ethnic minorities. The Thai, H’mong and Dao ethnic groups have been the most prominent settlers of the region, founding traditions that have become intertwined both with the landscape and Mai Chau’s passing seasons. Check-in. At leisure. Enjoy  traditional Thai folk dances while enjoying the local rice wine (optional).

Day 5. Mai Chau – Hanoi | B-D | Overnight: Hanoi

In the morning you take a trip to the traditional Thai trade village of Lac where local villagers create and sell beautiful handmade scarves and instruct visitors on the art of weaving. Visit some local family and learn about the traditions of the ethnic groups. Back to Hanoi with a stop to visit a village of the Muong and the H’Mong people in Hoa Binh. Check-in. At leisure.

Day 6. Hanoi Sightseeing - Departure | B |

In the morning you visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday and Friday), House-on-stilts, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature. Transfer to the airport for flight home. Have a good journey. Thanks for joining us.

General Notice for our Vietnam Holiday Packages

1. The prices are in USD and per person
2. 15 full paying pax group is granted one FOC based on half twin (exclusive of extra service)
3. Single SUP = Single Supplement
4. Standard check-in time is 14h00 and check-out time is 12h00.
5. Arrival/Departure: Above prices are valid only for a group of clients travelling together – arrival and departure with the same flight. Arrival/departure by other flight subject to supplement charge.
6. The unused services or visits will not be refunded or provided on an individual basis for group member(s) due to the delayed arrival/early departure unless they will go on private tour.
7. The program is subject to change without notice due to airlines’ unexpected changes of schedule or flight unexpected cancellations.
8. We reserve the right to adjust the prices for our Vietnam tour packages from India at any time in the event of an increase of the fuel surcharge applied by airlines companies or any other transport companies.

1. Vietnamese Lunch/Dinner: from 11 USD/person/meal.
2. Indian Lunch/Dinner:  15 USD/person/meal.
